Ellie Bear Fashion Through the Years

I think it is time for us to do a fun post!  I was going through some photos the other day and came across several where Ellie was wearing various outfits as a way of expressing herself.  For people who have been following the blog for a while, do you remember the multi-headband stage?  

Her latest, which I do not have a picture of, is wearing a medical mask.  I had to explain that one to school.  Her bus aide has been wearing a mask as means to prevent catching the flu.  Of course, the Bear thinks it is a fashion statement.

I wish I had a picture of the time where she wore a nightgown, leg warmers on her arms, and fireman rain boots. . . to Top Notch.

Dance Fashion According to Ellie Bear

I know that I mentioned back in October that the Ellie Fashion Series was going to be a monthly occurrence and then I managed to miss November.   I think that I need a continuous IV drip of coffee. Although, I love the taste of coffee so maybe I need a keg of Dunkin Donuts/Green Mountain?

Moving on! Ellie continues to entertain me and many of her followers on Facebook with her fashion ideas.  So it only makes sense that it carries over to her dance attire.

Ellie Bear Fashion Series

Ellie is quite the fashionista.  She has her own sense of style and she rocks it.  Lately, I have had several requests to create a blog post series using my Daily Ellie Bear School Photos that I post on my personal Facebook wall and The Chronicle of Ellie Bellie Bear Facebook page.  So here you all go! I apologize as most of these photos are a bit blurry because Ellie is running and I am using my camera phone.

Yes, she is that excited for school.

Oh child.  Ellie was all dressed up for her school picture.  Matching clothes.  Matching hair bows (no headbands!).  Combed hair.  Clean face.  I go to pick her up early from school for therapy and she saunters out with . . . her winter hat!  Something tells me she snuck it into her backpack before hopping on the bus. The good news is: the hat matches her outfit.

A bit about the weather.  We had a few freakish days where it was actually cool in the morning.  Think 50s.  For native Austinites, 50s = freezing.  Whimps!  This is where the long-sleeves and coat come in.  The short sleeves and skirts are because it is usually heating up into the mid-80s/90's.  The winter hat has absolutely nothing to do with the weather as this is just a part of Ellie's style.
